I would 100% recommend Gorey veterinary clinic. We have used the vets for over 5 years and always have received excellent service and treatment for our dogs. The receptionist are fantastic always friendly and very helpful, the vets are amazing and have always given our dogs great love and attention. Whenever we have any consultation we are always informed of cost so never have any surprises regarding treatment. 5 stars from me!

30/7/2026 Firstly the Vet who looked after us yesterday was brilliant and I have no issue with him.. I attended with my dog as his ears were very warm and I was worried he might have an infection/ ear ache. The major issue I have, and the reason I hope never to return as a customer with my pet was the cost of testing and medication used in the surgery was not discussed PRIOR to administration, I was absolutely SHOCKED that ear drops costing €55 PER EAR, were used without my prior consent. Total cost for having my ears checked: €200 We are in a cost of living crisis and this way of doing business is extortionate, I will advise anyone I know to stop using this vet surgery as a result of this, and also. Also the hard push of sales for long term medication and costly food is another reason I hope not to return. There seems to be a recurring theme with people I know who have attended, if your dog is 9+ , they are pushing the fact that every dog seems to have arthritis and needs a monthly injection, at an extortionate cost (in my opinion) This surgery went from amazing to hard sales for long term medication and money grabbing since the take over. The word of mouth locally is extremely bad for this surgery and people will just stop attending / supporting locally.

The best Vets ever. Couldn't fault them 🐕🐈. Henry my cat was unwell in middle of the night. Rang on Saturday morning Appointment was 12.20. Seen within 10 mins & all was sorted. Eoin & his colleague (in training) were fantastic. Henry is now back to normal TG. Thank you for the great attention he got🥰.

Our little dog was nervous at first but felt the 'grá' from the very warm and reassuring reception. Next week wil be the cats turn.
