O’Shea, Bramley & Breen presents as a veterinary hospital handling both small and large animals, with a stated specialty in BOAS corrective surgery and respiratory function grading (a focus relevant to brachycephalic breeds). Recent reviews describe both routine and urgent-care situations: owners mention surgery and follow-up calls, text reminders for injections, and blood test results returned within hours in one case. However, a small number of recent 1‑star reviews describe serious concerns about communication, transparency, and out‑of‑hours/call‑out experiences, including disputes over what information was provided and what was charged.

I am writing to share an extremely distressing experience. While under care of a dog sitter, who has a close relationship with this clinic, my dogs were involved in a serious incident, resulting in the tragic loss of one of my beloved pets. This has been devastating. Despite my legal right to information and after seeking appropriate advice, the business has refused to provide any medical details or a clear explanation of what occurred. Communication has been profoundly unprofessional, with staff being rude and condescending during phone calls. To add to the distress, I have not received confirmation regarding the return of my dog's remains. The complete lack of transparency, empathy, or accountability is unacceptable. I cannot express enough caution to other pet owners considering this service.

I always visit this hospital when I have som issues but I was literally stolen this time!I had an appointment with doctor Niamh O’Shaughnessy she couldn’t help us ,she honestly said she doesn’t know what to do. And that’s ok but duration of our appointment was 2 minutes! No results! Finally 49.50 for consultation… for what????!!!! I didn’t get anything! For what I paid! They said doctor spet her time on me! No , I spent my time on her and paid big money for nothing! It is a shame! I cross out this hospital from the list.

Kate Murtagh did a brilliant job with my sick dog. She was on site over the long weekend, ready to do emergency surgery on Sunday morning, bloods back within 4 hours. I needed a real animal expert and she is! Thank you Kate!

Always so good with my furbabies and does there best to keep cost down without compromising the health of our pets. My dog is always nervous but vets are always so good and patient with her. Got a new female rescue Kitten Oreo and Simba's nose was a little out of place but vets were so good seeing them together and getting them used to each other. Just amazing with them and keeping them all up to date with their injections. Always get reminders by text which I would be lost without.
