Pets First appears to be a pet rehoming centre (rather than a general veterinary clinic). The website text describes rehoming pets with “a professional team dedicated to their welfare,” and multiple reviews focus on adopting dogs and meeting animals before committing.
Based on reviews, the centre seems set up around rehoming processes and basic pre-adoption health steps: adopters mention dogs receiving vet checks, microchipping and vaccinations as part of adoption, and one reviewer noted staff “did not try to force anyone into taking a pet,” prioritising a good match. A recurring practical issue is access/wayfinding—one reviewer said map directions brought them to the wrong entrance—but they also said the receptionist helped promptly by directing them.
Google rating: 3.9 stars from 32 reviews.

Google maps does not bring you to the correct entrance. This is especially frustrating if you are coming from a northerly direction as you are directed into the driveway of the house next door with no idea where to go next. Coming from the other side you can see the Pets First sign. Thankfully the receptionist answered the phone promptly and was extremely pleasant and helpful and directed me the rest of the way to Pets First. Lovely experience once I had arrived.

I went with a friend to view a little dog who had been surrendered to the pound the staff were very nice and allowed my friend and her son to meet the little one we decided to take her it cost 70 euro this includes her first two shots chip and they would have spade her but she already had the job done my friend was able to collect her the following Wednesday afternoon she is a beautiful animal has a few little problems but nothing a loving home and a bit of training can't solve. The staff were very helpful there and did not try to force anyone into taking a pet. After all, they want a good fit for the animal also .

If you need to get your dog back the only way to start is by leaving a message on the answer machine they not open Tuesday and Thursday only accept cash payments need to have your dog license and microchipped if not microchipped you will have to pay to get it done before your pet will be released at an extra fee and only be there for 3pm not 2pm what the dog Warden told me.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The dogs get a full vet check, chip and double vaccinations and a voucher for neutering. I've got the cutest dog ever from this place and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. It's so much more rewarding to rescue rather than buy a dog. The only downfall this place has, it's not very well advertised, and the phone in times are very limited.
