My cat was unwell and I rang barrowside and within a short time a vet did a house call...I found the vet very professional and really recommend this vetinary service

I am so happy with this practice I brought my dog Jessie in yesterday and tony was very kind and gave Jess full attention blood works ect all back in an hour .this morning she was sick again called Michael at 730 am he was so help full on phone listened and asked lots of questions didn't rush he then asked me to bring her in he gave her a complete exam and he then found the problem .I was upset as I was so worried it was more serious but he was so kind Jessie is starting to feel better as he gave all the relevent meds required. So happy with this practice and very thankfully to them

Lovely receptionist and veterinarian, went in and enquired about something for my dog 🐕 and they found time to give my dog what was needed so thank you

I had two situations with Barrowside Veterinary Clinic, which brought me a bad experience. First was with my own cat and second with stray dog, which I found and brought in to their clinic. After these experiences I wouldn't absolutely recommend it to anyone. Until now, during another sudden and very sad situation, their new worker picked up the phone from me (although the clinic was already closed), came to the address I asked and helped me completely, showing her care, passion and real love to animals. This worker was a woman vet, Jasmijn Slob, very professional in what she does. I allowed myself to find out more about this wonderful person and I checked some details about her on Google. It showed me that she came to Ireland from Netherlands. I wish she wouldn't change her attitude at her work at all watching the work of her colleagues. She's completely "new", "fresh" to this clinic, full of positive vibes and huge engagement. I hope this clinic is aware of how perfect vet, and first of all - wonderful person with big heart - is with them. I also hope that Jasmijn Slob feels appreciated all the time. 🙏❤️

Nice vet practice, their prices are reasonable. I see lots of locals using them. I come here with my two outdoor set cats who get into lots of mischief. No treatment is too big or small for the vets. They usually can give you a same day appointment. Highly recommended.

Michael and the team (in our opinion) are totally amazing!! They saved our pup after she had an intestinal blockage and nearly died!! They were incredibly attentive and caring to both our 8 month old pup and to us. The whole team from the vets to the veterinary assistants to the receptionists were friendly, professional, caring, understanding and compassionate!! We have dealt with vets all our lives but never experienced the level of care that we did at Barrowside!! We could not recommend this veterinary practice enough!! Every one of the vets here are so caring and professional!!
